Kuraora 🐠 this week was a good one, very faith filled....I'll explain

So I while back a talked about a woman who we were teaching who wanted to get baptised but she wasn't married and her boyfriend didn't want the lessons (she's been taking the lessons for years) anyway we decided to do a fast with her in like February, she started crying and said how overwhelming the spirit was. 2 weeks later we saw them on the street and her boyfriend asked us why she liked the lessons so much. So we set up a lesson with him, gave him a book of Mormon, couple more lessons and after that lost contact for about a month. After our other family was baptised we refocsed on them and Mike had read a. Lot. Loved it. Started teaching their 2 daughters and everything was going good. Fasted for a mariage date, bam. April 30th. Okay anyway his family is very catholic and his mom was not happy. She told their 2 daughters that if they chose to be baptised she would no longer acknowledge them, even when they see each other on the street. (The daughters are 11 and 13) iia catholic mommies have very hard hearts. Well the whole family made their choice to be baptised. Saturday arrives and maybe 2 people from his family showed up. (Mariage and baptism) it was so sad but even though his family here on earth weren't there I know his family on the other side of the vail was. It was just such an example to me of how faith filled these people are. It was a beautiful day! And my last baptism on makemo becauseeee I'm getting transferred:// I'm so sad. I'll leave it at that.

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one. God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. You and me go fishin in the dark 🐟🌛

Yes I did indeed go fishing in the dark but it ain't the same vibe as the song :// Also jokes on all you of who drop hundos on fishing gear, all you need here is an empty water bottle, string and bait. Man I think I'm obsessed with fishing now. This week was exhausting. Our days start with lessons at 8am and goes until 8pm. It's non stop all day long. It is work! Sometimes all I want to do is take a nap in a cold dark room but it's all worth it when the amis change because of Jesus Christ, and you can see the fruits from your labors. We've been working with another family and just yesterday they decided to get married and baptised April 30th. I told them I was getting transferred at the beginning of May and what do you know it! I guess they want me to be here for it  I know you are all so sick of me talking about the Book of Mormon but legit everytime I read it, I think to myself "this is amazing how have I never read this before" A quote that I found this...

Provo, draper, and alpine

Image putting 3 sisters from provo, draper and alpine together. Don't worry we've already laughed about it hahaha but yes a sister get ETed into our companionship. I love trios so no complaints! This week we got to drive around all of Tahiti for some filmings. One mans example really touched me. Some background: He doesn't have a lot of things in life, no phone no car, no bike. His house was made out of cement with sometimes no roof covering it. His conversion story is amazing, but after we were done filming we saw that he had a big table of fruits. (Usually pretty common for people here to sell fruit for a living) Next thing we know he's putting together a whole bag for us. I run out to the car to get some money and when i tried to give it to him, he very sternly refused. He said " i know that charity is the pure love of christ" I felt so bad for taking this big bag of fruit. It's literally his income. Over my mission I've noticed that the people who ...
