Elder $oares à Tahiti

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one.

God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. I'll drop some good quotes.

- Missionary work is not a sacrifice, it's a privilege.
- If we want to know God, we have to serve him
-There's a difference between helping someone be baptized and helping them become a disciple of Christ.
-Discipleship comes from hard work
-You can leave the mission field but don't let the mission field leave your heart
-Live a life that attracts people to the gospel
-Have the courage to be different
- weekly accountability letter to the savior after the mish (you missionaries will understand)

Man the list goes on but those were some of my favorites.

We are currently teaching the cutest family and walked around the temple with them after our lesson and they told us that their home was so much more peaceful after that...I was thinking "Imagine going INSIDE" (pic of them down below) someday they will be in white in front of the temple 😇

Random thing: So I pulled out and tied up the trash but since the dumpster is kinda far I set it outside thinking we could do it later or the other soeurs could do it. Well it rained for 4 days straight this week and that trash was still sitting there just getting rained on. The sun finally came out and it got hot again, well next thing you know that trash bag started to move inside. There was an army of maggots inside and around the bag. We couldn't wait any longer. We had to put another trash bag over and finally take it down. It was horrible. Now that I'm writing this it kinda relates to repentance! Don't procrastinate the day of your repentance!! It gets worse the longer you wait. Take that trash bag down RN!

Send me an email! or not lol ig I go home in 2 weeks anyway but I would still love to hear from you all!
