Joe Biden comes to crystal lake

I legit don't know what it is about this place cause so many things happen here..anyway my comp saw on facebook that he was coming and giving a speech at a college then was gonna get ice cream after at downtown. So like any wise missionaries we went and did some street contacting...it was pretty much what you would expect..lots of blue haired girls lots of trump supporters booing the blue haired girls. People driving by with trump flags then the liberals booing them. ANYWAY as I was standing there just looking at all these people I just thought "wow we really are all just God's children" how different the world would be if everyone tried to be a little more like jesus christ everyday.

Some of my convos went like this:
"Those darn trump supporters"
Me: yeahh..anyway so when Jesus christ was on the earth....

A MIRACLE happened this week..I FREAKING MET ANOTHER TAHITIAN!! The sisters in the district went to Chick-fil-a after DC and one of the sisters complimented this worker's tattoo and he was like oh thanks I'm actually Tahitian so that's where it comes from...I turned around so fast and was like "OH MY GOSH I SPEAK TAHITIAN...KINDA" basically I just told him how we are missionaries and some of us are reassigned...it was so cool he owns this polynesian dance club and gave us all his info. All I'm saying is there are no coincidences in the sight of God because this was so freaking rare. Got to use 3/5 of the phrases I feel comfortable using 😎 hahah

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one. God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. You and me go fishin in the dark 🐟🌛

Yes I did indeed go fishing in the dark but it ain't the same vibe as the song :// Also jokes on all you of who drop hundos on fishing gear, all you need here is an empty water bottle, string and bait. Man I think I'm obsessed with fishing now. This week was exhausting. Our days start with lessons at 8am and goes until 8pm. It's non stop all day long. It is work! Sometimes all I want to do is take a nap in a cold dark room but it's all worth it when the amis change because of Jesus Christ, and you can see the fruits from your labors. We've been working with another family and just yesterday they decided to get married and baptised April 30th. I told them I was getting transferred at the beginning of May and what do you know it! I guess they want me to be here for it  I know you are all so sick of me talking about the Book of Mormon but legit everytime I read it, I think to myself "this is amazing how have I never read this before" A quote that I found this...

Provo, draper, and alpine

Image putting 3 sisters from provo, draper and alpine together. Don't worry we've already laughed about it hahaha but yes a sister get ETed into our companionship. I love trios so no complaints! This week we got to drive around all of Tahiti for some filmings. One mans example really touched me. Some background: He doesn't have a lot of things in life, no phone no car, no bike. His house was made out of cement with sometimes no roof covering it. His conversion story is amazing, but after we were done filming we saw that he had a big table of fruits. (Usually pretty common for people here to sell fruit for a living) Next thing we know he's putting together a whole bag for us. I run out to the car to get some money and when i tried to give it to him, he very sternly refused. He said " i know that charity is the pure love of christ" I felt so bad for taking this big bag of fruit. It's literally his income. Over my mission I've noticed that the people who ...
