Alma 10

Heyyyyy today is my p day cuz we are going to the temple 😌

Remember our boi wayne? Okay sooo we went over to his house with one of our members who was catholic before she joined. The commitment we gave him the last time we met was to read Moroni 10. So when we get there with our member he opens up to Alma 10 and was like honestly sisters I read this chapter 4 times and I don't understand it. So our member starts flipping to Alma 10 then she started reading the introduction to the chapter...

"Lehi descended from Manasseh—Amulek recounts the angelic command that he care for Alma—The prayers of the righteous cause the people to be spared—Unrighteous lawyers and judges lay the foundation of the destruction of the people. About 82 B.C" 

They both have their glasses on trying to figure out what it means and I'm sitting there trying not to laugh but could not hold it in. I thought it was so funny haha we were like we are so sorry, it was Moroni we wanted you to read... 

Hope y'all had a good week and watched conference. I can't believe how different conference is as a missionary. I was watching it like Netflix

Elder $oares Γ  Tahiti

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one. God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. You and me go fishin in the dark πŸŸπŸŒ›

Yes I did indeed go fishing in the dark but it ain't the same vibe as the song :// Also jokes on all you of who drop hundos on fishing gear, all you need here is an empty water bottle, string and bait. Man I think I'm obsessed with fishing now. This week was exhausting. Our days start with lessons at 8am and goes until 8pm. It's non stop all day long. It is work! Sometimes all I want to do is take a nap in a cold dark room but it's all worth it when the amis change because of Jesus Christ, and you can see the fruits from your labors. We've been working with another family and just yesterday they decided to get married and baptised April 30th. I told them I was getting transferred at the beginning of May and what do you know it! I guess they want me to be here for it  I know you are all so sick of me talking about the Book of Mormon but legit everytime I read it, I think to myself "this is amazing how have I never read this before" A quote that I found this...

Provo, draper, and alpine

Image putting 3 sisters from provo, draper and alpine together. Don't worry we've already laughed about it hahaha but yes a sister get ETed into our companionship. I love trios so no complaints! This week we got to drive around all of Tahiti for some filmings. One mans example really touched me. Some background: He doesn't have a lot of things in life, no phone no car, no bike. His house was made out of cement with sometimes no roof covering it. His conversion story is amazing, but after we were done filming we saw that he had a big table of fruits. (Usually pretty common for people here to sell fruit for a living) Next thing we know he's putting together a whole bag for us. I run out to the car to get some money and when i tried to give it to him, he very sternly refused. He said " i know that charity is the pure love of christ" I felt so bad for taking this big bag of fruit. It's literally his income. Over my mission I've noticed that the people who ...
