Sister Vimahi died

That literally ain't a joke..so I'm gonna try and summarize this. On thursday we had weekly planning and we were both so tired so we went to CVs and got some celsius (the energy drinks that I love) and when we went to do self check out this indian dude comes over and asks us for our IDs..so I show him mine and he's like oh you can't buy this cause you aren't 21. I was like "why would I need to be 21 to buy an energy drink" and he was like "no this is alcohol" and I was low key arguing with this man like "no show me where this says alcohol" anyway good thing my companion is 21 so she could buy it. SO we were telling this story to one of our members who we are tight with and they pulled out some heavy energy drinks for us. (300 mlg) when we got home I went to brush my teeth and I see sister v pounding this energy drink (note that it's 10 pm) and I'm like "what are you doing?!" long story short she stayed up all night and then told me she felt fine. The next day 7 o'clock rolls around and she's like okay I'm just gonna take a 5 min. nap so I'm like okay whatever it's just our facebook shift I can do it..but she was out in like a minute so I was like well we have our facebook shift for like 2 hours then we have a devo at 9 so I'll wake her up 20 minutes before that. When I went to wake her up she did not move. It started out as a joke of me hitting her with a pillow and pouring water on her cause I just figured she was a deep sleeper but then I tried to check her heart beat and I couldn't feel anything and I checked under her nose to see if she was breathing and she wasn't so then I really started to freak out. Somehow I got her up but when she woke up she started legit having a seizure and couldn't breath so I turned her on her side and started doing the heimlich maneuver and she finally started breathing but then started having the shivers..at this point i'm like do I call 911??..like who do I call, so I called another sister that we are both tight with and she basically just helped me to calm down hahah. Anyway she's okay now but it was very scary..


something else that was funny this week was we went to a less active members house and we were talking with her and she was like "I hate anyone that voted for trump" and I was over there scratching my head like "yeahhh trump suckkksss" cause like we needed her to commit to watch church and to get her friend that she referred to us to watch church as well. She actually did so wahoo! Anyways sorry for the long email

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one. God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. You and me go fishin in the dark 🐟🌛

Yes I did indeed go fishing in the dark but it ain't the same vibe as the song :// Also jokes on all you of who drop hundos on fishing gear, all you need here is an empty water bottle, string and bait. Man I think I'm obsessed with fishing now. This week was exhausting. Our days start with lessons at 8am and goes until 8pm. It's non stop all day long. It is work! Sometimes all I want to do is take a nap in a cold dark room but it's all worth it when the amis change because of Jesus Christ, and you can see the fruits from your labors. We've been working with another family and just yesterday they decided to get married and baptised April 30th. I told them I was getting transferred at the beginning of May and what do you know it! I guess they want me to be here for it  I know you are all so sick of me talking about the Book of Mormon but legit everytime I read it, I think to myself "this is amazing how have I never read this before" A quote that I found this...

Provo, draper, and alpine

Image putting 3 sisters from provo, draper and alpine together. Don't worry we've already laughed about it hahaha but yes a sister get ETed into our companionship. I love trios so no complaints! This week we got to drive around all of Tahiti for some filmings. One mans example really touched me. Some background: He doesn't have a lot of things in life, no phone no car, no bike. His house was made out of cement with sometimes no roof covering it. His conversion story is amazing, but after we were done filming we saw that he had a big table of fruits. (Usually pretty common for people here to sell fruit for a living) Next thing we know he's putting together a whole bag for us. I run out to the car to get some money and when i tried to give it to him, he very sternly refused.
