Not falling in love with fall

Yoooo can y'all believe September is almost over?! It flies by every year. It's starting to get cold here and me; who brought a total of 1 rain jacket is like "okay God it's now or never..." jk I would never test God like that but I just wanna buy sweaters but also I could be leaving soon....sooo ya anyway we will see lol

This week we had zone conference. It was fire to say the least...prez wanted us to do roleplays on inviting someone to church using the savior's words so he told everyone to pull out their own scripture to use. I opened up to the one I like and was just chillin and prez saw me and was like "sister oveson come up here and do a roll play with me." I was like oh freak. So I had to get up in front of 2 zones..so scary.

On saturday we were calling a bunch of ppl for church and we called this one muslin dude that the elders referred to us and he was hecka weird. He was like "here is my friend Jesus who speaks French '' then handed the phone to his friend. So naturally I grabbed the phone and was like yuh it's my time to shine  😎Love and miss each of you! Read the Book of mormon if you are sad...I wish I read it more in High school so don't make the same mistake I made!! just open it up....

Elder $oares à Tahiti

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one. God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. You and me go fishin in the dark 🐟🌛

Yes I did indeed go fishing in the dark but it ain't the same vibe as the song :// Also jokes on all you of who drop hundos on fishing gear, all you need here is an empty water bottle, string and bait. Man I think I'm obsessed with fishing now. This week was exhausting. Our days start with lessons at 8am and goes until 8pm. It's non stop all day long. It is work! Sometimes all I want to do is take a nap in a cold dark room but it's all worth it when the amis change because of Jesus Christ, and you can see the fruits from your labors. We've been working with another family and just yesterday they decided to get married and baptised April 30th. I told them I was getting transferred at the beginning of May and what do you know it! I guess they want me to be here for it  I know you are all so sick of me talking about the Book of Mormon but legit everytime I read it, I think to myself "this is amazing how have I never read this before" A quote that I found this...

Provo, draper, and alpine

Image putting 3 sisters from provo, draper and alpine together. Don't worry we've already laughed about it hahaha but yes a sister get ETed into our companionship. I love trios so no complaints! This week we got to drive around all of Tahiti for some filmings. One mans example really touched me. Some background: He doesn't have a lot of things in life, no phone no car, no bike. His house was made out of cement with sometimes no roof covering it. His conversion story is amazing, but after we were done filming we saw that he had a big table of fruits. (Usually pretty common for people here to sell fruit for a living) Next thing we know he's putting together a whole bag for us. I run out to the car to get some money and when i tried to give it to him, he very sternly refused.
