Coconut crabs πŸ¦€

We were walking down the road on Saturday and we saw one of our friends with 2 big sacs. I thought it was filled with coconut but it was filled with coconut crabs. Which are the crabs who hang out by the coconut trees and only eat coconut. (Pics down below) anyway it was lit and I got to hold one

One day my companion told me that when she was doing her laundry the water smelled weird and there could be a dead rat in our water tank. (Note that we don't have filtered water, and all of it comes from rain water) well since last week I've been drinking the tap water because we don't have a lot of time to go to the store and it's also expensive. So anyway I was like well that's awkward cause I've been mad drinking the water. And she was like dang you might die. And I was like dang πŸ‘‰πŸ‘ˆ .... OH WELL I'm finna go straight to heaven and convert all our friends ancestors. Nah but anyway I waited a day to see if I would die but here I am!

If everything goes well the family we've been teaching will get married and be baptised on Saturday! AH yesterday we had a lesson with them and he told us that over the weekend when his friends asked him if he wanted to go out with them and drink he said no. My heart was about to burst I was filled with so much joy in that moment. I had tears in my eyes. Weird huh but you understand on the mish. Anyway it really made me think of heavenly father, and how happy he is when we choose the right. But how he still loves us and wants us to do better when we fall short.

Those are the biggest updates from this week! I'm really racking up months on the mish now. 14 down 4 more to go!

YOOO my time is running out as a missionary. I'm gonna miss it. Especially when we have weeks like this one. God decided I needed to go out with a bang for my last transfer. Elder Soares came to Tahiti and spoke for my very last zone conference. It was exactly what I needed. You and me go fishin in the dark πŸŸπŸŒ›

Yes I did indeed go fishing in the dark but it ain't the same vibe as the song :// Also jokes on all you of who drop hundos on fishing gear, all you need here is an empty water bottle, string and bait. Man I think I'm obsessed with fishing now. This week was exhausting. Our days start with lessons at 8am and goes until 8pm. It's non stop all day long. It is work! Sometimes all I want to do is take a nap in a cold dark room but it's all worth it when the amis change because of Jesus Christ, and you can see the fruits from your labors. We've been working with another family and just yesterday they decided to get married and baptised April 30th. I told them I was getting transferred at the beginning of May and what do you know it! I guess they want me to be here for it  I know you are all so sick of me talking about the Book of Mormon but legit everytime I read it, I think to myself "this is amazing how have I never read this before" A quote that I found this...

Provo, draper, and alpine

Image putting 3 sisters from provo, draper and alpine together. Don't worry we've already laughed about it hahaha but yes a sister get ETed into our companionship. I love trios so no complaints! This week we got to drive around all of Tahiti for some filmings. One mans example really touched me. Some background: He doesn't have a lot of things in life, no phone no car, no bike. His house was made out of cement with sometimes no roof covering it. His conversion story is amazing, but after we were done filming we saw that he had a big table of fruits. (Usually pretty common for people here to sell fruit for a living) Next thing we know he's putting together a whole bag for us. I run out to the car to get some money and when i tried to give it to him, he very sternly refused.
